Inspired by cold weather and holiday baking, I decided to also start creating some cookies for our Corvid visitors the past few weeks.
I think I landed on a good mix: bread flour, rolled oats, corn meal, black oil sunflower seeds, strawberries, and a little banana for binder!
I baked them in the oven and voila! The house smelled magical AND the crows (and other birds) gobble them up!
They can be refrigerated for up to 5 days, so you can make a big batch on the weekend to use throughout the week.
They can also be frozen for up to 3 months – so you can make big batches and pull out as needed.
I also like to give a little extra food when it is windy, cold, or snowy!
